Across the world, crises abound: war in Ukraine, Gaza, and Myanmar, and the rise of authoritarianism in former democracies. Yet many students, especially in international schools, respond with ignorance or apathy, not because they don’t care, but because there are few spaces that ask them to. The Bangkok Youth Review exists to change that.

We address three problems. First, youth apathy: constant headlines, misinformation, and social media overload numb engagement. Second, international school limitations: rigid curricula and quiet privilege often encourage neutrality over curiosity or boldness. Third, local disconnection: students live alongside Thai society but often only observe it from a distance.

The Review is a student-led, independent platform where young people can write, think critically, and engage creatively—covering news, culture, photography, and opinion. It aims to nurture curiosity, foster dialogue, and encourage responsibility. Political and media literacy isn’t optional; it’s a responsibility. The Bangkok Youth Review invites students to write, reflect, and care about the world they live in.

เรามุ่งแก้สามปัญหา ปัญหาแรกคือ ความไม่สนใจของเยาวชน ข้อมูลข่าวสารมากเกินไปและสื่อสังคมทำให้ไม่ใส่ใจ ปัญหาที่สองคือ ข้อจำกัดของโรงเรียนนานาชาติ หลักสูตรเข้มงวดและความสะดวกสบายทำให้เด็กมักอยู่เฉย ๆ แทนที่จะกล้าถาม ปัญหาที่สามคือ การตัดขาดจากสังคมไทย นักเรียนอยู่ใกล้สังคมไทยแต่มักมองจากระยะไกล

Review เป็นพื้นที่นักเรียนสร้างเอง ที่ให้โอกาสเขียน คิด และสร้างสรรค์ ครอบคลุมข่าว วัฒนธรรม ภาพถ่าย และความเห็น เราสนับสนุนความอยากรู้ เปิดการสนทนา และสร้างความรับผิดชอบ ความรู้ทางการเมืองและสื่อไม่ใช่ทางเลือก Bangkok Youth Review เชิญชวนนักเรียนมาเขียน คิด และใส่ใจโลกที่เราอยู่
